Raspberry Jam Pastries

Looking for a sweet snack idea? These pastries are incredibly tasty and only require 3 ingredients… worth a try!

Ingredients

Shortcrust pastry roll 1

Raspberry jam 1 spoon per pastry shape

Sugar A sprinkle


Method

1. Take the pasty roll out of the fridge about 30 mins before using it, or it will crack.

2. Cut it in the shape you want to do your pastry as.

3. Add jam and close it up.

4. Place your pastries on a tray and sprinkle a generous amount of sugar on each one of them.

5. Place them in a pre-heated oven at 200° for 15/20 minutes


For a pinwheel shape, cut the shortcrust sheet in squares, then cut lines towards the middle but not all the way to the centre. Take the top left corner of each triangle and fold it to the centre. For the closed pastries, cut the sheet in rectangles and put the jam in the middle. Fold to close up the jam and use a fork to help you complete the pastry.
